CHAMPIONS & COLLABORATORS
Our statewide Creativity Champions are leaders in the field of fostering the growth of creativity in our Garden State and beyond. These organizations and their leaders contribute to the statewide efforts of Creative New Jersey in a variety of ways—through the important support of funding and through the donations of goods and services. Their endorsement and encouragement of our work is extremely appreciated by our growing community of creativity activists! None of our work would be possible without their stalwart support!
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation supports leadership, innovation, and collaboration for a better New Jersey. One of Creative New Jersey’s founding partners, the Dodge Foundation has provided exceptional leadership support that enabled us to launch in 2011 and subsequently gain significant momentum in a few short years. Their statewide impact across multiple sectors and disciplines is well documented and celebrated, and their tremendous efforts in support of our work are yielding a more creative and innovative New Jersey for all of us who live, work, learn, and play in our great state!
The Foundation for Educational Administration (FEA), in concert with The Dodge Foundation and Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern PA, are a founding partner of Creative New Jersey. FEA is a tireless advocate for continuous School improvement and their programs and research encourage and foster collaboration and innovation. FEA’s support of our work is instrumental in enabling us to achieve our goals and they continue to serve as our gracious host for many of our meetings and statewide convenings.
Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern PA is the third founding partner of Creative New Jersey. An established and highly-respected leader in the field of arts-education, Young Audiences prepares children for success in school and in life by providing arts-rich education that encourages children to look beyond facts and figures and creatively meet new challenges as they arise. Together with FEA and the Dodge Foundation, Young Audiences’ leadership has helped to develop the initial vision for Creative NJ and continues to provide leadership and in-kind support for our statewide programming.
Social Impact Studios is known as a creative hub that combines artistry and activism to support important social issues. Their founder and creative artists believe that thoughtful, beautiful and meaningful communication is still the best way to engage and motivate people. We couldn’t agree more with them and Social Impact Studios supports us through the in-kind support of mentoring focused on messaging, and community activism and engagement
The New Jersey Recovery Fund supports catalytic ideas and projects with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and sustainability as New Jersey recovers from Hurricane Sandy. Founded by the Community Foundation of New Jersey and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the NJRF is a joint effort among local and national foundations, New Jersey corporations, and individuals to provide support to New Jersey’s communities and nonprofit organizations that are affected by or responding to Hurricane Sandy. The Fund seeks to address the intermediate and long-term impacts of this natural disaster, serving as a flexible source of financial support to local organizations and communities as they lead and participate in rebuilding efforts throughout the state over the coming months and years. The NJRF has made it possible for us to employ our successful community-building and community engagement method in Sandy-impacted communities.
