CREATIVE ATLANTIC CITY
Atlantic City and its iconic boardwalk has been one of New Jersey’s – and the East Coast’s – greatest attractions, and has long inspired its residents and visitors. However today, Atlantic City is facing a myriad of challenges amidst a rapidly changing landscape.
On February 23rd & 24th, 2015, the Creative Atlantic City Call to Collaboration took place at The Noyes Arts Garage at Stockton University, attended by over 135 people. This two-day gathering was part of Creative New Jersey’s statewide series of community-based convenings, aimed at helping to fuel current efforts already in action and to foster creativity, innovation, and sustainability by facilitating cross-sector partnerships in commerce, education, philanthropy, government, and culture.
By championing creative thinking and establishing the conditions for collaboration among diverse groups of people, our work fosters creativity, advances dialogue, builds leaders, and weaves networks of individuals, who are thinking innovatively and creatively about social and economic solutions to their community challenges.
