CREATIVE COMMUNITIES

Our Annual Statewide Summit

Each year Creative New Jersey hosts a summit for our Creative Communities, statewide collaborators and supporters for a day of knowledge sharing, network weaving and creative thinking. Our Statewide Summit is an opportunity for individuals to connect with other creative communities and the people driving change there to share ideas, challenges, best practices and innovative solutions.

We focus on real-world examples that show how people in Creative Communities are building partnerships, using collaboration, and creating collective impact in a variety of sectors and industries, so that participants walk away with practical information and contacts for continuing the conversation.

2018 Statewide Summit

CNJ’s 2018 Statewide Summit will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd, hosted once again by the Foundation for Educational Administration (FEA), 12 Centre St., Monroe Township, NJ 08831. We thank our colleagues at FEA for continuing to host us! Event times and registration information will be available in the coming weeks.

Do you have an initiative or project born at our Call to Collaboration that you would like to share with other Creative Communities? We are looking for presenters of creative, collaborative and inclusive projects at our Statewide Summit! If you have something to share, please contact us at: info@creativenj.org by February 8th.

2017 Statewide Summit

Our 2017 Annual Statewide Summit welcomed presenters from many of our communities and statewide partner organizations, showcasing the creative ideas that are taking hold in communities as well as programs that are geared to tackle issues like water infrastructure, local journalism, affordable housing and creative placemaking initiatives. Our colleagues Maureen Heffernan and Wendy Liscow also led us through a creativity exercise that got us working creatively and collaboratively.
